At Plainville Oil we offer complete heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system design and installation, including warm air systems and baseboard hot water heaters, radiant floor heat, snow melt systems, commercial systems (which include gas radiant and tube heaters), plus gas and oil unit heaters.

Our team of highly trained and certified technicians are available to serve all of your heating and air conditioning needs.

24-Hour Emergency Service

Plainville Oil customers have the peace of mind knowing that we have 24-hour emergency service, 7 days a week, for any heating emergencies that might occur. We recommend one of Plainville Oil's service contracts, which include essential preventive maintenance and protection against potentially high repair bills.

Annual Tune-Ups

This preventive maintenance visit, which must be scheduled between April 1st and September 30th, can help you save up to 5% on heating costs and add years to the life expectancy of your heating equipment.

Your annual tune-up, which constitutes our Basic Plan, is included in our Comfort Plan and Total Comfort Plan at no extra charge. We will:

• Test and adjust the oil burner for maximum efficiency, using combustion testing equipment
• Inspect the combustion chamber
• Clean and check electrodes and nozzle assembly
• Install oil filter cartridge and burner nozzle, if equipped
• Oil all motors on burners, fans and circulators
• Check all safety and operating controls
• Vacuum clean the furnace and smoke pipe
• Visually inspect oil tank piping and fittings, including wear and tear

Heating Service Agreements

When you enroll in a Plainville Oil heating service plan, you enjoy real peace of mind. A service plan helps ensure that your heating equipment runs smoothly, which in turn, will decrease your fuel consumption and save you money. Best of all, you have a choice of 3 plans - from our Basic Plan, which includes your annual tune-up ... to our Comfort Plan, which includes your tune-up plus major parts protection ... to our Total Comfort Plan, which covers dozens more important heating system parts, and the TankSure tank protection program.

LOYALTY CREDITS (AVAILABLE WITH ALL PLANS)

It is our goal to reward our loyal customers. You earn $50 for each year you purchase a service plan, up to a total of $500 during your lifetime as our customer. You can use a portion of these credits toward the purchase of a variety of heating and cooling equipment (the figures below show how much can be used for any one item). Credits are not transferable. They have value only as credit toward the following equipment purchased from Plainville Oil by our customers.

Air Conditioning Service Agreements

When you enroll in a Plainville Oil air conditioning service plan, you enjoy real peace of mind. You'll rest assured that your cooling system runs dependably and efficiently during those hot, uncomfortable summer days and nights.

Our cooling service plan features:

• a 16 point system tune-up that will reduce the likelihood that your equipment will malfunction during the hottest days of summer (see our brochure for details)
• 24/7 emergency service
• $50 replacement allowance for compressor or condensing units
• 25% discount on parts and labor not included with the tune-up
• Priority service on all calls

Heating and Cooling Installations and Repairs

At Plainville Oil, we install and repair oil and gas boilers and furnaces, water heaters, and central air conditioners. If you are in need of service, all you have to do is call - and one of our knowledgeable technicians will be on the way to assist you. Our technicians are licensed and certified, and receive continuous training in the latest comfort system installation and maintenance techniques. In addition, they're polite, friendly and leave your home as neat and clean as when they begin their work. Tank Installations

We install underground oil tanks as well as indoor and outdoor aboveground tanks. New underground tanks are made from corrosion-resistant steel and fiberglass that improve safety and extend tank life - and add value to your home. The latest aboveground tanks take up very little space in your basement, crawl space or utility room. We also offer attractive outdoor tank enclosures to match your home's siding. These watertight enclosures protect your tank against the elements, ensure long life and provide secondary containment in the event of an oil release.

Tank Protection

Oil leaks are unusual but most occur in older steel tanks. It is very difficult to know when an oil tank needs to be replaced because tanks corrode from the inside out. We offer a program for aboveground and basement tanks to eliminate your worries.
