Spread the Warmth
to Support the Plainville Community Food Pantry
Your $20.00 donation to attend includes free drink tickets, wine and beer tasting and hors d'oeuvres. "Spread the Warmth" is being sponsored by Plainville Oil and Tower Energy, and all proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Fuel Bank of PCFP. In addition, Plainville Oil will donate $10.00 worth of home heating oil for every $10.00 raised at the event, up to $10,000.00.PCFP provides food, clothing, emergency energy assistance, furniture and household items, crisis intervention and referral services to Plainville residents in need. PCFP also provides Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter baskets, as well as special programs for children of adult registrants. Plainville Oil Donates 500 Gallons of Home Heating Oil
(Plainville, CT) Plainville Oil is proud to announce that it has donated 2,500 gallons of home heating oil to local families in need. Plainville Oil worked with the Plainville Community Food Pantry and Northeast Produce on this important program."With the economy down and heating prices up, we understand the difficulties many people in our area are facing. We consider it both an honor and our civic duty to help," said Nick Scata, president of Plainville Oil. "The 2,500 gallons of heating oil Plainville Oil donated went directly to local families who are having trouble with their home heating bills. We are a part of this community, and are happy to help our neighbors."
"We're thrilled that Nick and Plainville Oil are supporting our food bank," said Susie Woerz, executive director of the Plainville Community Food Pantry. "Thanks to all his help and generosity, we'll be keeping a lot of families warm this season."
The Plainville Community Food Pantry (PCFP) provides food, clothing, emergency energy assistance, furniture and household items, crisis intervention and referral services to Plainville residents in need.
